Hello everyone!

As I mentioned in my last post, I’ve been working on building a YouTube channel where I can do literary analysis of books, movies, TV shows and video games. I needed to find a new way of creating content since I can’t put any more stories on this page that I want to get published. My first upload was about how My Hero Academia handles the motivations and conflicts of its characters, but it was a little rough so I wanted to make a second video and do some fine tuning before I posted about the channel.

I didn’t have any experience with video editing prior to starting this project, so there’s been a little bit of a learning curve. Audio editing has been particularly difficult since I’m a much more visually oriented person, but I feel like I’m getting better and better as I go. I bought myself a new microphone, which helped a lot, and I’m having a lot of fun making them, (even though I’m quickly starting to hate the sound of my own voice).

This new video is about how the Resident Evil movies use images and iconography as a means of carrying a nearly absent plot. So if that’s the kind of thing that interests you, enjoy!
